Rated 5 out of 5 by DebiA from Works great and so easy to clean I never used a hand blender before and now realize I have been missing out. Instead of cooking sauces and soups and ladling batches of them into a blender or food processor and then into a separate large pot, it all can be done in the same pot it has cooked in. It is so much easier and leaves only the blender arm and original pot to wash. I find the hand blender a bit heavy to hold for more than a minute but it helps when I raise myself by standing on a stool (I am 5' tall). So far, I have used the hand blender three times and still it is working on the first battery charge. The food chopper makes the smoothest guacamole in just seconds. I cannot imagine needing to use the longer blender arm unless with an industrial-sized pot. I am looking forward to using the other accessories and have no doubt they will work well. I love that most of the accessories are stored in their own case and that none of them are as heavy or bulky as a full-sized blender or food processor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Unknown from Over all very good Use for making sauces, dressings, smoothies, puree soups, etc. Works great! Love the attachment and long arm attachment. Carrying case falls apart very easily. Battery is short lived. Very heavy to use. Have not tried the chopper attachment yet.

The lid of this large box of parts cannot close, items are placed too tight. I missed my old cord blender. Good things: the shaft is stainless steel and very long. Good for soup. Would be better if the head of each attachment is given in a table laminate cheat card, much easier to handle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Peter633 from Waste of Money I bought this a couple of years ago so it is off warranty. The Lithium Ion battery will no longer take a charge. When I tried to get a replacement battery for it Kitchenaid could not provide one despite this model still being listed for sale. As the warranty was expired they offered a 15% discount for a new unit listed for almost $400. When searching the US website the battery with a slightly different model number is listed for sale for about $30 but won't ship to Canada. Ridiculous.
